1972  First Exhibition, Ipswich.

1974  Work first accepted by the Paris Salon (Société des Artists Francais).

1975  Elected Associate, Société des Artists Francais. First One-man Exhibition in France : Biarritz. 

1980  Elected Member of Pastel Society, London. One-man Exhibition Mall Galleries London. 

1982  First One-man Exhibition America : Buffalo, New York. 

1983  Commenced exhibiting Phoenix Gallery, Lavenham. 

1984  Elected Fellow, Royal Society of Arts, London.

1986  Elected member Société des Pastellistes de France. Exhibited and Lectured at "Journées Internationales du Pastel", Chateau de Maisons-Laffitte, Awarded 'Diplôme Prix d'Honneur' by Société des Pastellistes de France.

1989  First Paris Exhibition - Galerie d'Art.

1991  Invited to teach in Paris for the French Pastel Society. 

1992  Awarded title 'Maître Pastellist' by Société des Pastellistes de France. 

1993  Publication of book "Pastel Masterclass". Elected Vice President, Société des Pastellistes de France.

1996  First Oil Painting Exhibition, Phoenix Gallery, Lavenham. First One-man Exhibition, City Gallery, London.

1997  Commenced lecturing and tutoring at a series of Art Courses.

1999  Guest Exhibitor : Salon National du Pastel, Paris.

2002  Awarded the W.H.Patterson prize at the annual Pastel Society Exhibition.
          “Honary Guest” exhibitor with the Societe des Artiste Francais in Feytiat, France
          Exhibitor with Europastello. 1st exhibition Province of Cuneo (southern Piedmont) Italy

2003   2rd exhibition during Feb.-March St Petersbourg Russia
          One man exhibition Wildlife and Phoenix Gallery, Lavenham Suffolk
          Started contributing articles to the Leisure Painter magazine

2005   Series of articles entitled “Paint along with Margaret Glass” for the Leisure Painter
